As a former product manager for a famous greeting card company, McMorrow brings a unique perspective to the holiday that ranks only behind Christmas and Halloween in terms of consumer spending.
Sure, there will be a massive amount spent, estimated at $25.9B this year, but as McMorrow reminds us, it is the thought that counts. A handwritten note is a must, regardless of how fancy the card is. With that said, she says that a 3D pop-up card developed during her time as a product manager was extra special and one worth displaying beyond February 14th.
