The Community Movie Theater

Everett Christensen talks about the importance of a movie theater in drawing together the people in this small midwestern town.  Christensen is the namesake for the local communications company and is a leader in his community, as evidenced by the way he revived this Madelia, Minnesota landmark.  This theater is one of the reasons that Christensen won the 2011 MTA Economic Development Award.

Thanks, Roger Bindl for filming and editing!

My son and his girlfriend have been to this theater several times, most recently last week to see the Hunger Games. The theater runs first run movies at bargain prices ($5 for all showings). Only 20 minutes from Mankato this is a first class theater in a friendly small town community.
