Almost lost in the noise from last week’s FCC’s actions are the ongoing FCC deliberations about the proposed Comcast/Time Warner and AT&T/DirecTV merger/acquisitions. It won’t be a forgotten topic at the 2015 ACA Summit, as Ross Lieberman of ACA reminds in the above interview. This panel is so fresh, its description isn’t even on the website for the ACA Summit. This will be an informative session, as it will feature panelists both for and against the deal including:

• DISH Network Corporation’s Jeff Blum
• John Bergmayer of Public Knowledge
• Comcast’s legal council (and former FTC Chair, Jon Leibovitz)
• AT&T’s Hank Hultquist

Lieberman will be on the panel as well, providing the voice of ACA and their nuanced perspective on these proposed mergers, which as he points out probably won’t be until at least mid-year.
