Sneak Peek of the Internet Peering Book

The technical and economic aspects surrounding Internet peering are central to a just published book by Bill Norton, also known as “Dr. Peering”. In this interview, filmed at Parks Associates’ Connections™  conference, we catch up with this former member of the founding team of Equinix and former chairman of NANOG and find out his motivation for authoring this book. The publication is timely, as the foundation he provides is relevant to understanding topics, such as net neutrality, over-the-top video and the role of telcos and cable providers.   Stay tuned for the review.

Thanks guys for the interview and the opportunity to share this information more broadly.
I should point out that the book is now on Amazon.com in Kindle and printed book form. The ePub version for the iPad is still not on the Apple iBookshelf (sigh) but can be purchased on lulu.com. I have a limited number of copies I am sending out for reviewers so if any of you would like to review the book, send an email to wbn at DrPeering.net
I am also putting a chunk of the book on the DrPeering web site so folks that are just looking to get up to speed on what peering and transit are, and maybe to be exposed to some of the dynamics at the core of the net, then this information will be freely available to them.
    Thanks!
