In this exclusive video shot at the Occam Networks User Group meeting in early September, Russ Sharer, Occam Networks’ Vice President of Marketing, announces their intention to bring a G-PON offering to the market. The surprise element of this video was somewhat given away by Occam’s announcement of the purchase of certain assets from Terawave several weeks ago. Still, it is interesting to hear Occam Networks, a long time proponent of active fiber architecture (which they still are), embrace G-PON.
