HTC was proud to be one of the sponsors of the “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” for the Wilson family living in an HTC service area off of Highway 90 in Longs, South Carolina. HTC provided free wireless access for the media and spectators, wireless internet access for the builders, as well as voice, video and data for the ABC production crew on site. For the Wilson’s home, HTC provided Home Integration products and services including:

In addition to being selected as the exclusive telecommunications provider for the home, HTC provided one year of free phone, cable and Internet service. “This has been quite an experience for everyone involved, and HTC was pleased to share in this community-wide effort,” said Brent Groome, Chief Executive-Customer Operations. “Although we were a sponsor donating HTC products and services needed for construction, our employees working on site received so much more in return for being a part of this life changing experience for the Wilson family.”
