Real-Life Touch Up #CES2020

There is an old story about a young woman who was the perfect beauty, except she had one imperfection; a mole. If she had Opte, she would have been able to literally print a pigment over the mole and cover it up (until she washed her face at night).

Thomas Rabe, the inventor of Opteskin, a P&G Ventures project, explains how this compact unit sports a high-definition camera that scans 200 frames per second camera. Every frame is analyzed to identify dark spots. It then ejects, via thermal inkjet printer technology, just enough pigment to match the surrounding skin.

Conceptually, it is like using a touch-up brush in a photo editing program. Rabe indicates that their consumer testing of this product indicates that both women and men find this product appealing.
