“We were asked whether we had indoor plumbing,” said Wyoming State Representative Marti Halverson in the above video. She was reflecting on a conversation she had with a reporter at the 2004 Republican Convention. As she points out, not only did they have indoor plumbing, they had high-speed broadband, which was more than the reporter could say for her state capital.

In the above interview, Halverson talked about the importance of Silver Star Communications’ Gigabit announcement to the Star Valley region. She points to the need for bringing gigabit to all parts of the Equality State, including Cheyenne, the state capital. Interestingly, Halverson moved to the Wyoming 30+ years ago and one of the factors for settling in Star Valley was Silver Star Communications’ advanced network.
