The Best Service Is No Service


“The best service is no service,” explains Cable One’s Senior Vice President-Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Jerry McKenna. McKenna discusses why his company won the Cable Fax Independent Operator Award for 2013.  Quick and proactive resolution of problems is a key reason they won the award.

He suggests some of the benefits beyond excellent customer service are better efficiency and reduced pressure on the Cable One associates. He points out that Cable One has never had a lay-off, which is amazing given the volatile nature of the current telecommunications’ environment.

Their focus on providing outstanding customer service has laid the foundation for their expansion into business services, which, if internal goals are met, will double in three years to $100M.
