In this video, Will Brown of D-Link and Kevin Meagher of Intamac explain how their respective hardware and software products can be used to provide security, monitoring and control turning any home into a smart home.  D-Link has created a starter kit, especially for the Do-It-Yourself" type of person, that allows for an easy installation.  Supporting both Zigbee and Z-Wave, the solution allows for a variety of wireless sensors, door locks, power strips and other forms of control.  As mentioned in the video, there are opportunities for service providers to offer this as a private-label service.  This was filmed at the Parks Associates 2010 Connections Conference.
