FRED, the Foundation for Rural Education and Development, celebrated it 20th year at the OPASTCO 2009 summer conference. The video includes Karen Kohne with a brief intro to FRED and it’s history, Carlton Appelo talks of founder Everett Kneece, Sherry Colgate talks about a teacher of the year award, David Lewis describes community development guide they worked on, plus other highlights of the 20 year celebration and over $2M in educational money raised over those 20 years.
