Because xG/xMax is a scam! Just look at the previous records of their management team (Mooers & co), xMax is just snake oil.

This article was restricted to HSPA vs WiMAX- as per the title. NO OTHER broadband wireless technologies were considered!

HSPA vs WiMAX is of interest to US based wireless carriers (large telcos, independent telcos, and utilities/ municipalities), because those technologies are available in the US and are being heavily promoted here.

I have never written anything about xMAX for viodi.com, because that publication focuses on the US independent telcos who need to decide to deploy technologies that are widely available in the U.S. Even though the Frost and Sullivan report covered xMAX, it was INTENTIONALLY NOT mentioned in my article for that reason.

I do have my own blog at:
http://www.ether.com/CommunityServer/UserBlogs/ajwdct/Alans-Networking-Analysis/default.aspx

There I could write about anything I wanted to.
Hope this answers your question.

Funnily enough, you expound on the eventual losers in the mobile broadband field and you mention nothing about the winner, xMax, from xG Technology. As a matter of fact, aside from the title of the research paper by Frost, xMax is never mentioned at all, although it is given the best chance to succeed

Why is that?
