The Business of Video Training

  1. In a world where any expert, anywhere can produce a training video on their particular area of expertise, what becomes the role of training publishers?
  2. Most of the material to date has been distributed via DVD and now it is going online. Several of us have subscription web sites. Do you see a role for distribution of training video via Cable TV and Telco TV cable systems in a Video on Demand environment? What about in a mobile environment?
  3. As follow-up, do you see providing training across multiple platforms (e.g. video iPODs, TV, Mobile, Internet) in one subscription package? 
  4. How do you see the role of sponsored training – e.g. why not watch the toilet repair video from Home Depot and receive a discount?
