Can IPTV scale to 1 million homes? This was the question posed on the panel, IPTV – Scaling World Wide, at the Telecom @ NAB conference. Panelists from HP, Intel and Kasenna discussed the methodologies of their recent performance and stress testing of a typical IPTV configuration. Further, Steve Curran of ViewNow, opines about the importance of this testing in proving to content owners that operators are serious about IPTV and that IPTV is here to stay.
